Welcome to Year 2

Reading

As a school we place a high value on reading at home and we have the expectation that parents/carers will read daily with their children at home. Children will take home their reading book and reading records each night but this must come back to school the next day.

Talk Homework

Each week we will send home a short homework for the upcoming Maths and English. This is designed to be something you can spend 5 minutes chatting about on the way home, or something you can turn into a longer piece of homework or a project. It will include a simple run-down of what we will learn and some questions for you to discuss or investigate.

Our Curriculum is constantly evolving and we consider our planning to be working documents.
