Reading
At Broadgate, reading is an important part of children's learning. The children have lots of opportunities to read at school. We also ask that you read with your child at home, everynight, for a few minutes at a time. This could be your child's school reading book or a story that you share at bedtime. Reading at home has a huge impact on the progress your child makes.
Homework
The children receive spellings on a Monday and homework on a Friday. Spellings will be tested the following Monday. Children will have the opportunity to share their homework during show and tell on Thursday.
Our Curriculum is constantly evolving and we consider our planning to be working documents.
