Who are the PTA?
Every parent and carer of every child at Broadgate Primary School is automatically a member of the PTA, so welcome! We have a big, friendly group of active volunteers who support the committee and make everything we do possible.
We hold regular meetings in the local pub which are open to everyone and can be joined remotely as well as in person. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people as well as having a say in how money is raised and spent in school. Don’t have time for meetings? Why not become a class rep and help circulate events and information to your year group.
What do we do?
We organise events throughout the year for the children and their families to enjoy, including school fairs, discos, BBQs and quiz nights, along with other projects that raise money for the school.
Our fundraising supports the school in numerous ways: from extra classroom equipment, educational initiatives and leavers’ hoodies, to larger projects that benefit the entire community.
Funding requests
If you would like to request for something to be funded by the PTA, please complete our funding request form and it will be considered at the next meeting.
