Headteacher's Welcome

Broadgate is a school full of joy, ambition and potential - I am both proud and privileged to lead this vibrant and caring school community. Having served as Deputy Head for eight prior years before stepping into this role, I already knew what a special place Broadgate is — but as Headteacher that realisation and understanding has strengthened and deepened considerably.

At Broadgate, we are deeply committed to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment where every child can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. Our talented staff work tirelessly to ensure that each child feels valued, supported and challenged to achieve their very best.

Together, we’ve continued to build on the school’s strong foundations, nurturing a shared commitment to working closely with parents, carers and the wider community to ensure our school continues to thrive. Together, we can celebrate our children’s successes, embrace new opportunities and navigate challenges with resilience and determination.

I look forward to getting to know you all even better in the months ahead and strengthening the vital home-school partnership. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries or questions. We value your input and believe wholeheartedly in the power of collaboration. Please use the links above to browse our website. It contains everything we think you need to know about life at Broadgate.

Warmest regards,

Sarah Qualtrough.

Our Photos...

Broadgate 'Take One Pictue' Art Exhibition showcasing the children's wonderful work in response to the painting "A muse (Calliope)" by Cosimo Tura that is held at The National Gallery in London.

Wonderful reception children at their annual singalong, in aid of Heart Research UK.

Well done to our fantastic choir, who performed carols with a local group of musicians at the Central Chapel.

Our Year 5/6 pupils enjoyed taking part in the carol concert at St. James' church, Woodside. Thank you to all the staff there for a wonderful welcome and also to all parents who braved the cold and rain to join us.

Super singing and dancing by our excellent Year 6 children in the Northern Arts Factory Dance Fest at Yeadon Town Hall.  Many thanks to all the parents of Broadgate who came to watch the show.
