What's happening in Year 4 ........

Topics this half-term include Animals, including humans (digestion/teeth) and food chains in science. We have started our History topic about the Tudors and look forward to learning more about this period of history.

In computing we begin with revision of esafety considerations and this is linked to another aspect of PSHE which considers the dangers of video games when used inappropriately.  We look at ratings for games and discuss why games are given age restrictions.

This year we have two additional Councils in School. Adding to our School Council we shall have a Sports Council and Food Council. A member from each Year 4 class will be elected by the children in each class. The representatives will attend meetings to provide a voice for ideas and suggestions put forward by children in Year 4. The Councils provide a great opportunity for children to have their say in School.
